¡Damas y Caballeros comenzaron los Octavos de Final de la Liga de Campeones de Europa con dos de los equipos favoritos para volver a llevarse la orejona! El Manchester City derrotó de visitante 1-3 al Copenhague con una actuación brillante por los dirigidos de Josep Guardiola. Por su parte en el otro juego de la jornada vimos como el Real Madrid ganó en Alemania 0-1 de visitante frente al Leipzig en un juego con polémica arbitral y con muchísimas ocasiones de gol. Aquí les traigo el análisis y mí opinión sobre ambos choques europeos. ⚽🎉

El equipo inglés volvió a demostrar en la tarde de este martes que es el principal equipo en repetir el campeonato y ganó cómodamente frente al Copenhague en un resultado que inclusive debió ser más abultado. Comparto con ustedes las estadísticas vitales de este juego del Manchester City con 27 Remates, 13 de ellos al arco, 79% de posesión y 6 tiros de esquina. En cambio por su parte el Copenhague tuvo 4 Remates, 1 solo fue al arco, 21% de posesión y 2 tiros de esquina. Como pueden ver un dominio abrumador por parte de los ciudadanos quienes contaron con la actuación brillante de Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden y Bernardo Silva quienes además los 3 marcaron goles. Inclusive el City pudo haber marcado mucho más goles. En cambio el gol del rival vino tras un error que aprovechó Magnus Mattsson en el único tiro al arco que tuvieron en el partido. Este fue solo el Juego de Ida, falta la vuelta en Inglaterra y para mí esta eliminatoria está prácticamente sentenciada en favor del Manchester City tanto por equipo, calidad, experiencia, nivel y además definen la eliminatoria en su casa ante sus aficionados en el famoso Etihad Stadium. En lo único que podría preocupar del City es la falta de puntería al arco, pero eso no es problema sí siguen generando tantas ocasiones por juego. (Le doy una puntuación de 9/10 al City por el error en el gol y por su gran resultado de visitante).

En el encuentro más disputado de la jornada el Leipzig recibió la visita del todopoderoso Real Madrid y no pudo ante los merengues quienes los derrotaron por 1-0 con un golazo del joven Brahim Díaz. Pero esto juego tuvo de todo, un gol anulado al equipo alemán que hasta para el mismo Toni Kroos al finalizar el juego comentó que debío sumar al marcador porque el portero no llegaba. Además de varias entradas fuertes donde más de un futbolista pudo haberse ido expulsado, como por ejemplo el defensor del Real Madrid Carvajar que hizo una jugada fuerte en la primera parte y ni tarjeta amarilla recibió. Fue un arbitraje muy permisivo donde se dieron varias patadas y el árbitro principal no pitó siguiendo el juego. El Real Madrid fue dominado en gran parte del partido, fíjense que tuvo 15 Remates, de los cuales 3 fueron al arco, 50% de posesión y 3 tiros de esquina, algo habitual para los merengues quienes en la mayoría de sus juegos ante rivales en el papel inferiores tienen más posesión. Por su parte el Leipzig tuvo 14 Remates, 9 de ellos fueron al arco, 50% de posesión y 7 tiros de esquina demostrando que llegaron, pero que no fueron contundentes. Además el portero ucraniano Andriy Lunin del Real Madrid fue el mejor para mí del equipo con sus 9 atajadas y manteniendo el arco en cero. El juego de Vuelta será en el Estadio Santiago Bernabéu en una serie que todavía no está cerrada, pero que sin duda los merengues tienen todo el favoritismo. (Le doy una puntuación de 7/10 al club español por la victoria de visitante, pero no me gustó su juego).

Para la jornada de este miércoles tendremos al PSG de local recibiendo a la Real Sociedad y a la Lazio de local recibiendo al poderoso equipo bávaro Bayern Múnich. Los favoritos para mí en estas llaves son el PSG y el Bayern Múnich, pero mucho cuidado con la Real Sociedad que vienen jugando muy bien en la Champions. Los otros 4 choques de Octavos de Final serán para la próxima semana en los días martes 20 de Febrero y miércoles 21 de Febrero.
