Hola amigos, feliz lunes de agujas para todos (as) en @needlewormonday, espero hayan pasado un excelente fin de semana. Esta semana me contactó una gran amiga que en realidad es mi comadre, a ella también le gusta la costura, tiene dos adolescentes las cuales están en danza y ella les confecciona sus trajes, pero cuando el tiempo no le da y necesita ayuda sabe que estaré para ayudarla.

This week I was contacted by a great friend who is actually my comadre, she also likes sewing, she has two teenagers who are in dance and she makes their costumes, but when time is short and she needs help she knows I will be there to help her.
Al ver la tela, la cual era muy linda con mucho brillo, me preocupé porque mi máquina no cose todo tipo de telas, pero el hecho de que era necesario colocar un forro por su transparencia ayudó a que las costuras salieran bien, entonces corté para la parte delantera dos piezas para la parte del busto con su forro y los uní junto con una tela de malla en tono piel que va en el centro.
When I saw the fabric, which was very nice with a lot of shine, I was worried because my machine does not sew all types of fabrics, but the fact that it was necessary to place a lining for its transparency helped the seams to come out well, so I cut two pieces for the front part of the bust with its lining and joined them together with a mesh fabric in skin tone that goes in the center.
Para la trasera igual fueron dos piezas de tiros y espalda baja que también va forrada y luego uní por los tiros a la pieza delantera e hice costura por los laterales.
For the back I did the same with two pieces of straps and a low back that is also lined and then a [i for the straps to the front piece and sewed the sides.
Para la parte de la falda corté un rectángulo en tela brillante que arruché un poco para luego coserlo a la parte superior del traje.
For the skirt part I cut a rectangle in shiny fabric that I ruined a little and then sewed it to the upper part of the suit.
Como la tela es transparente lleva un short, el cual hice en cuerina y en principio me habían indicado que iría separado del traje, pero luego según las contornaciones que hace la joven al bailar prefirieron que lo cosiera también al traje, quedando al final una braga o enterizo, ya que se siente más cómoda para bailar.
As the fabric is transparent, it has a short which I made in leather and at first I was told that it would be separate from the suit, but then according to the contours that the young woman makes when dancing, they preferred that I also sew it to the suit, leaving at the end a panty or one-piece, since she feels more comfortable to dance.
Para finalizar coloqué un cierre en la parte trasera y a la falda le hice cortes verticales porque la falda debería ir de flecos, para lo cual la tela se prestó porque es stresh y al cortarla y estirarla los cortes toman peso y se forma el fleco perfectamente.
To finish I placed a zipper on the back and I made vertical cuts on the skirt because the skirt should be fringed, for which the fabric lent itself well because it is stresh and when cut and stretched the cuts take weight and the fringe is formed perfectly.
Terminamos así este lindo traje para la hija de mi amiga y que usará en su obra de teatro y baile.
We finished this cute costume for my friend's daughter that she will wear in her play and dance.
Este ha sido un gran proyecto, me encantó ayudar a mi amiga y más el aprendizaje al hacer un traje que a la vista se ve un poco complicado, pero con dedicación y disposición se logró terminar con gran satisfacción. This has been a great project, I loved helping my friend and even more the learning by making a costume that at first glance looks a little complicated, but with dedication and willingness it was finished with great satisfaction.
