With the arrival of my 85mm F1.8 lens, I've found myself more motivated lately. Realising the potential I have with two prime lenses of very cinematic focal lengths. At some point I'll be starting a company here related to the world of filmmaking and photography, something I have no idea how to go about doing, but pretty excited in regards to the technical side of operating something like this. One of the ideas I've had to try to build a bit more awareness of myself and abilities is to ensure I capture the locations I visit on a day-to-day basis. This means turning the cafes I visit frequently into something I could benefit from through the use of social media. Taking artistic photographs of these locations and finding the companies online to tag them. Gaming for things like follows or just reposts. More eyes, more potential on getting some work, pretty much!

A lot of Armenia, especially Yerevan operates in a very strange way regarding marketing. They have no idea how to go about it. They use Instagram stories and weird phone-filmed advertisements that don't really make sense. I already know I could do something better than this with a few minutes of their time, the first step is building a bit more of a portfolio and pretty much walking on in with a little offer. In terms of photography and filmmaking here, things are dated. The potential here is huge if someone is willing to just take that opportunity. Pretty much open for the taking. I don't really have any excuses at this point. The gear I have far excels the gear I see supposed professionals here using. And that is something that motivates me more.

Anyway, these are a few cafe images from today. Some low resolution exports straight from the camera. Quick, easy, and something to really throw myself into the world. People tell me my photography is good, but I feel I don't do enough to promote it. That has to change.
