El día de ayer estuvimos preparando una sorpresa para las madres en el horario de pintura.
Le pedimos a los niños que llevaran un frasco de vidrio para poder pintarlos.
Cada uno llevó su respectivo frasco y yo conseguí 20 más con una representante y le di a unos niños que no tenían frasco, tomé uno para mi, uno para Estefania y uno para Enrique.

Yesterday we were preparing a surprise for the mothers during painting time.
We asked the children to bring a glass jar so we could paint them.
Each one brought their respective jar and I got 20 more with a representative and gave them to some children who didn't have a jar, I took one for me, one for Estefania and one for Enrique.
La dinámica empezó muy sencilla, le colocamos a los niños dos bandejas con pintura e hicimos dos grupos para que trabajaran mas cómodos.
Le preguntamos a los niños que ideas tenían para pintar sus frascos y todos querían pintarlo de rosado o rojo.
Les explicamos un poco como tenían que realizar la pintura para evitar accidentes y los dejamos fluir.
Ellos estaban bastante entretenidos y emocionados de pintar esos frascos para sus mamás.
The dynamic started very simply, we gave the children two trays with paint and we made two groups so that they could work more comfortably.
We asked the children what ideas they had for painting their jars and they all wanted to paint it pink or red.
We explained a little bit how they had to do the painting to avoid accidents and let them flow.
They were quite entertained and excited to paint those jars for their moms.
Los niños pintaron la primera capa y colocaron los frascos en la mesa para que se secaran.
Mientras se secaban decidieron merendar y descansar un poco.
Nosotras por otra parte también pintábamos nuestros frascos. La verdad yo nunca había pintado un frasco y tenía bastante temor de hacerlo. No soy muy buena dibujando y siempre tengo temor de arruinarlo.
Decidí pintar unas flores en el mío, con mariposas y un poco de césped en la parte inferior.
También esperé que se secara para dar una segunda capa y que los colores se vieran mucho mas intensos.
Algunos niños en ese momento nos pedían ayuda para ir al baño, lavarse las manos etc.
The children painted the first layer and placed the jars on the table to dry.
While they were drying they decided to have a snack and rest for a while.
We, on the other hand, also painted our jars. To tell the truth, I had never painted a jar before and was quite afraid to do so. I'm not very good at drawing and I'm always afraid of ruining it.
I decided to paint some flowers on mine, with butterflies and some grass on the bottom.
I also waited for it to dry to give it a second coat so the colors would look much more intense.
Some children at that time were asking us for help to go to the bathroom, wash their hands etc.
Después de un rato de merienda, volvimos con nuestros frascos a dar la segunda capa.
En este momento el ambiente ya estaba mas tenso, los niños comenzaron a discutir, la pulcritud en el trabajo se extinguió, se mancharon de pintura entre tantas cosas.
Muchos finalizaron antes y dejaron sus frascos en la mesa.
Cuando todos terminaron decidimos premiar a los que mejor se habían portado para intentar impulsar un mejoramiento en la conducta de los niños.
Regalamos barriletes y caramelos, solo una niña se llevó barrilete y fue Franyelis. 3 niñas se fueron a casa sin caramelos por mal comportamiento, habían pasado toda la tarde peleando.
Mi frasco quedó sencillo, siento que después puedo hacer mas decoración en el.
Como les dije los niños estaban complacidos con sus pinturas, unos dibujaron su casa, otros a su mama, otros colores y el resultado, a su manera, quedó muy lindo.
After a while of snack, we returned with our bottles to give the second coat.
At this point the atmosphere was already more tense, the children began to argue, the neatness in the work was extinguished, paint stained among so many things.
Many finished early and left their jars on the table.
When everyone finished, we decided to reward those who had behaved the best to try to encourage an improvement in the children's behavior.
We gave away kites and candy, only one girl got a kite and that was Franyelis. 3 girls went home without candy for bad behavior, they had spent the whole afternoon fighting.
My jar was left plain, I feel I can do more decorating on it later.
As I told you the children were pleased with their paintings, some drew their house, others their mom, other colors and the result, in their own way, was very nice.
