I opted to go for a relatively small 10 Hive Power Up this time around.
I'm still stacking Hive but it feels like it's a good time to keep some liquid as all things crypto are looking lively.
Hive Progress in Feb 2022....
I managed to add my target of 1000 HP this month, bringing my total HP up to just over 103.2K Hive, that's around 150HP short of what I've like to have added, but it's a short month, and I've still got a lot delegated to ZING, which is still a great return!
I also managed to add another $300 ish into HBDs too, which are stacking up nicely. The plan here is to stack enough to match my outstanding mortgage, a way off yet, and after that I probably will just hold it and enjoy the interest on it!
Switched to posting on InLeo but it seems to be struggling...
I've just renewed by LEO Premium subscription which is just about worth it for the @leo.voter votes, and I've been posting through the InLeo front end. I made $18 in HE tokens in the last month, around 80% of which will be LEO, so it's worth it I think.
The problem is that it's a bit unresponsive the LEO front end, it's still a work in progress, but I am sure it will get there... one just has to be patient!
Zing Stake is growing...
I'm well over the 200K Zing mark now, pushing 300K with my Zing/Hive position in the Liquidity Pool. I've got an order on, low for another 80K, and precisely 1K Hive ready to buy whatever packs are coming out hopefully in March.
I've been thinking that Zing's got as much chance of mooning silly as anything else... lots of large crypto holders out there are Pokemon fanatics, it only takes a few of them to cotton onto this and potentially BOOM!
500K ZING is now feeling like a nice target!

This was such an engaging question posted by @acidyo last week that he felt it necessary to write a follow up post to respond to the many, many comments he got.
My gut-reaction to this question was 'at least 10K HIVE, which would net a sweet $100K at that price.
And TBH that's pretty much enough funds to see me through all the way to retirement so that'd be enough.
I certainly wouldn't PD anywhere near all of it, I mean at $10, that'd make 100K HP worth $1M, and at 10% curation APR that's $100K in a year just for skimming curation returns.
If that sort of price range lasted a couple of months, you could skim nearly $20K just from curation without powering yr base HP, whatever that amount might be.
At those kind of prices, if they ever happen, it almost makes Powering Down huge sums pointless if you're already financially OK anyway, which I am!
I think I might write a whole post about this!
