Boracay was my last destination in my latest vacations. It's a tiny island in the Phillipines, and the plan was just to sit back, relax, and enjoy the sun and the stunning beach(s) the island is known for. I only stayed for a couple of days, but it was more than enough to fall in love with the place.
It's really hard not to like it, and I didn't even explored the island as much as I wanted, nowhere near; too little time. One thing I'm sure, though: I've seen some of the best sunsets of my life here!

I've done zero processing in these photos - or any other processing apart from aligning some of them; no changes in colours, contrast, shadows, nothing. They come straight out of a slightly crappy camera.

How stunning are these colours??

Anywhere I looked, the scene seemed to be perfect to be captured; more or less plam trees, more or less people, different sunsets timings, it didn't mind - as the golden hour approached, the colours were insane. I was lucky to have some scattered clouds too, that just added to the composition; I actually prefer to see sunsets with clouds, since I love the way they reflect the sun light.

Although I prefer to photograph anything that doesn't have people near, it was an impossible task here, since the White Beach is packed with locals and tourists alike; it's the most famous beach of the island, and it's easy to see why.

Truth be told, they end up providing a decent contrast here, so can't really complain!

Sitting in the sand, soaking the last rays of sun, enjoying people watching, boat watching, and the waves coming and going...

There are worse ways of spending time, right? 😉
