The penultimate day of the year. Another damp, dreary, misty morning, the kind that chills your bones and dares a cold to creep in. Thankfully, I am fit enough to dodge the usual sniffles. Yesterday was such a beautiful cold and dry winter morning, obviously just a one day wonder. Before heading to the Tiergarten, I made a quick detour to the Spree, from where i got a good shot of our district’s townhall that stood shrouded in fog. In the Tiergarten, the world softened; I paused by Neuer See, grounding myself with meditation and deep breathing, letting the crisp air fill my lungs. On the way back, I stocked up on fresh fruits and vegetables, perfect for juicing and a healthy salad later. It wasn’t just a routine; it felt like a rhythm, a way of reclaiming the day from the gloom.
