From the moment you set foot in this place, the connection with nature is total. Every corner I walked through filled me with peace and awe, so in this post I will tell you about my visit and show you images that capture the magic of this park.

✨Entrance and First Impressions/ Entrada y Primeras Impresiones

Best of all, admission to the park is completely free, so you can enjoy its beauty without worrying about costs. You only have to pay $3 for parking, as it is private.

Lo mejor de todo es que la entrada al parque es completamente gratuita, así que puedes disfrutar de su belleza sin preocuparte por costos. Solo debes pagar $3 por el estacionamiento, ya que es privado.

As soon as you enter, you are enveloped by the sound of birds and the breeze moving the trees. It is a relaxing and lively environment. Inside the park there are local vendors, so if you get hungry or thirsty, you can buy something or, if you prefer, bring your own food and save a little.

Apenas entras, te envuelve el sonido de los pájaros y la brisa moviendo los árboles. Es un ambiente relajante y lleno de vida. Dentro del parque hay vendedores locales, así que si te da hambre o sed, puedes comprar algo o, si prefieres, llevar tu propia comida y ahorrar un poco.

One of my favorite details was seeing so many people having picnics. There are perfect areas to sit, enjoy a good snack and just take in the surroundings.

La Llovizna Park extends over 200 hectares and owes its name to the fine mist that forms when the water of the waterfall hits the rocks. It is an impressive natural spectacle that you can feel on your skin as you approach.

El Parque La Llovizna se extiende por 200 hectáreas y debe su nombre a la fina bruma que se forma cuando el agua de la cascada choca contra las rocas. Es un espectáculo natural impresionante que puedes sentir en la piel al acercarte.

In addition to its beauty, this park has an incredible biodiversity. Here you can see monkeys, birds, fish and butterflies, and the coolest thing is that you can interact with some of them. I saw people feeding the monkeys with bananas and the fish with special food (which you can buy in the park). I stayed for quite a while watching them and capturing photos and videos. I even managed to photograph a monkey 🐒📸, also the fish🐟🐠 .

Además de su belleza, este parque tiene una increíble biodiversidad. Aquí puedes ver monos, aves, peces y mariposas, y lo más genial es que puedes interactuar con algunos de ellos. Vi gente alimentando a los monos con bananas y a los peces con comida especial (que se puede comprar en el parque). Me quedé un buen rato observándolos y capturando fotos y videos. Incluso logré fotografiar un mono 🐒📸, también a lo peces🐟🐠 .

🚶‍♀️ Trails, Bridges and Overlooks/ Senderos, Puentes y Miradore

Touring the park is an adventure. There are different trails that take you to the iconic La Llovizna waterfall, passing through wooded areas full of giant trees and lush vegetation. It also has several bridges that cross small islands within the park, giving a magical touch to the tour.

Recorrer el parque es toda una aventura. Hay diferentes senderos que te llevan al icónico Salto La Llovizna, pasando por zonas boscosas llenas de árboles gigantes y vegetación exuberante. También cuenta con varios puentes que cruzan pequeñas islas dentro del parque, dándole un toque mágico al recorrido.

One of the main attractions are its three viewpoints, each with a unique perspective of the waterfall:

🍃Second viewpoint: Closer, here you can already feel the breeze and the spray of the water.
🍃Third viewpoint: The waterfall in all its splendor! Its strength is impressive, although it is only 18-20 meters high, its flow and energy make it unique.

If you like adventure, here you can rent kayaks and paddle around the park's lagoon. It is also ideal for hiking, photography, picnics and even meditation under a tree.

Security: There are park rangers, police and firefighters in the area.

Prohibitions: No fishing, hunting, pets, bathing, campfires, smoking, carrying weapons or writing on trees.
