Good evening, #Monomad friends
Everything in life appears to each of us as a difficulty. If we overcome an obstacle, we soon find ourselves in a comfortable position, and we tend to adapt to this new condition, not wanting to change or make the possibility of failure uncomfortable... In a society increasingly focused on giving visibility and a voice only to those who stand out from the crowd, I find myself surrounded by small cells, also called individuals or human beings, who, despite not being able to look at themselves in the mirror, point out the defects in others that they themselves often have.
Knowing how to accept your limitations is a quality like any other. Not all of us are able to overcome the obstacles that come our way. For me, for example, the fact that I manage to walk a distance of just over 3 kilometers every day can be a considerable achievement, whereas for a marathon runner it's just a warm-up.
Let's always have a goal in mind that goes beyond the obstacles we've already overcome, but let's look at ourselves as unique beings, and in our individuality, let's always remember that we are unique, and as such, we have our own goals.
I often find myself thinking about what I could have overcome or achieved, or even experienced. It's not easy for me to accept myself as a fragile being with limitations. I wish that acceptance were easier and that it didn't cause me so much personal embarrassment.
I'm sharing here some photos of one of my workouts in the gym, where the scale of the weights gives you a real idea of the increasing degree of difficulty we face over the years...
