Today, the crew gathered at Praça XV because the rain wouldn’t let up, but the session didn’t disappoint.
Alex Alék came in strong, and in the middle of his tricks, he broke his deck with a front flip, Donny Barley style, showing how it’s done.
Felipe Shane was also out there hustling, and Mike Mag came through with great vibes, taking the opportunity to celebrate the release of his new part.
Even with the cold and heavy rain in Rio de Janeiro, the skating didn’t stop. Luan Juice killed it, and Lucas Bert nailed his tricks at the Mauacba Skate Coffee mini ramp, the only dry spot to skate since the city was soaked.
But the highlight of the day was at night, with the premiere of Mike Mag’s long-awaited part, Curves of The Universe. The whole video was filmed with the classic Sony VX1000, bringing that raw filming style we all respect. The video turned out amazing, and the crowd cheered at every scene, celebrating yet another achievement in skateboarding.
"SÓ VAMU!!!"
I hope you enjoy these videos as much as I enjoyed filming them, and that you share the links with other skate lovers!
