This week was a week that was an investment in my life that, not at one beat at all, wasted.
It was such an amazing 2 afternoons and 2 evenings that all I can express was gratitude
Gratitude to learn that it is not hard to write a song at all when we yield at the right source
Gratitude to get to know how far these super stars in the Christian music arena have walked from humble beginnings.
Gratitude to hear the encouragement that sometimes, not being too hard on ourselves rating perfection is a step of freedom
Gratitude to hear great testimonies of how "Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more" impacts people.
Gratitude to worship the LORD together in joy and in tears, in vulnerability, and in humility with around 40 Church worship team representatives all across peninsular Malaysia
And the list goes on and on...
Sometimes you just need to just take a step back from trying too hard to do for the Lord , and just emmerce in His presence with the Lord . And let the miraculous and the supernatural move at the highest power's will, that us "trying to call it into reality" (like some consciousness practitioners do)
The burden is light when it the focus is no longer self , where the world kept instilling (directly / indirectly) into our minds, far away from the rat race.
Though in many sense I was learning, soaking in all the teachings they freely shared, I was resting . My soul was refreshed every revelation of God was shared, there was never a dull moment even though I was still as usual lacking some sleep
It was such a gifted moment for my heart by witnessing the hearts of the young, who chose to just be in this melodious precious moment rather than partying at midweek Happy Hour or entertaining themselves.
Being choir conductor myself it was honey to my ears because many of them are worship team people and my sensitive ears were picking all the fade symphonic harmonies all over the place by the voices of over 1000 people in one hall complimenting the melody.
That was "God's Vacation Gift" to me. ❤️
