Sunset walk around the harbor of Gijon!
I started out at the monument of King Don Pelayo! The first King of Asturias! He ruled the region from 718 until his dead in 735!
A couple of hundred meters further was another statue...
Árbol de la Sidra, ore tree of cider! The tree is made out of 3200 cinder bottles! Nice idea for Christmas, a couple of light bulps in there and you are done!
Many sailing boats are laying in the harbor! Waiting for summer when the sea is a bit calmer here and the weather is a bit better!
People enjoying the sunset together or alone!
In the distance, in the harbor, there is a lot of heavy industry! I have no clue what they are doing there, but this looks like steam of some kind of blast furnaces!
The sky turned almost red!
It's not pretty at all but it does has some kind of beauty! Especially during a nice sunset!
The sky turned really red at the end of blue hour!
