Llega un nuevo jueves y con el una nueva oportunidad de compartir con ustedes otro recuerdo de aquellos momentos del pasado y son tantos buenos recuerdos que tengo guardados en fotos que siempre es difícil poder elegir uno solo de ellos para hablar, sin embargo, esta vez fue mucho más fácil al darme cuenta de que justo hoy se cumple un año de uno de los momentos más bonitos y especiales que he vivido y en este post les hablaré un poco al respecto antes de que acabe el día.
A new Thursday arrives and with it a new opportunity to share with you another memory of those moments from the past and there are so many good memories that I have saved in photos that it is always difficult to be able to choose just one of them to talk about, however, this time it was much easier when I realize that today marks one year since one of the most beautiful and special moments I have experienced and in this post I will tell you a little about it before the day ends.
Mi TBT de hoy es de hace exactamente un año cuando después de poco más de un mes planeando y organizando todo finalmente pudimos celebrar a fiesta de revelación de género de nuestra primera sobrina, Amaya Victoria. Para esa fiesta fui yo la encargada de preparar todo, la decoración, papelería y esa gran caja que ven en la foto, algo que nunca antes había hecho y esa fue mi primera vez tanto haciendo la caja como organizando ese tipo de fiesta, además que para poder hacerlo era yo a única que sabía que la bebé sería una niña y eso para mí fue todo un honor.
Recuerdo que pasé alrededor de 3 semanas decorando esa caja, era muy grande y requirió mucho trabajo y el uso de bastante material, fue todo un reto para mí pero estaba muy emocionada de poder hacerla y feliz al ver que todo quedó hermoso. Estuve desde temprano armando la decoración, inflando globos y preparando todo, esa caja aun después de terminada me dio problemas porque no lograba colgarla, tuve que pedirle ayuda a los tíos y al abuelo y fue un momento de tensión increíble porque tenía miedo de que de tanto moverla de un lado al otro se abriera o se escapara algún papelillo y se arruinara toda la sorpresa.
Ese sin duda fue un día muy especial además de importante, ese día todos (excepto yo) supieron que era una niña la que esperábamos en la familia y por supuesto la emoción y la felicidad estaban más que presentes en todos los que la esperábamos con ansias.
My TBT today is from exactly one year ago when after a little over a month of planning and organizing everything we were finally able to celebrate the gender reveal party of our first niece, Amaya Victoria. For that party I was in charge of preparing everything, the decoration, stationery and that big box that you see in the photo, something that I had never done before and that was my first time both making the box and organizing that type of party, plus To be able to do it I was the only one who knew that the baby would be a girl and that for me was quite an honor.
I remember that I spent about 3 weeks decorating that box, it was very big and required a lot of work and the use of a lot of material, it was quite a challenge for me but I was very excited to be able to make it and happy to see that everything turned out beautiful. I was putting together the decorations early on, blowing up balloons and preparing everything. That box, even after it was finished, gave me problems because I couldn't hang it. I had to ask my uncles and grandfather for help and it was a moment of incredible tension because I was afraid that moving it from one side to the other would cause a piece of paper to open or escape and the whole surprise would be ruined.
That was undoubtedly a very special day as well as important, that day everyone (except me) knew that it was a girl we were expecting in the family and of course the excitement and happiness were more than present in all of us who were looking forward to her.
