Death signs - watercolours on paper

Dead trees dragged by the waves have always put me in a state of agitation, reminding me of past shipwrecks and corpses wandering in search of peace. I chose to depict this surreal scenario to highlight the transience of life, which today seems increasingly ephemeral to me.

Vessels that are prey to the waves symbolise human frailty.

Trees and branches that twist and wriggle like damned souls in search of peace.

Leaden sky conducting the funeral orchestra.

Gli alberi morti trascinati dalle onde mi hanno sempre messo in uno stato di agitazione, mi ricordano naufragi trascorsi e cadaveri che vagano alla ricerca di pace. Ho scelto di rappresentare questo scenario surreale per evidenziare la caducità della vita che oggi mi sembra sempre più effimera. Natanti che sono in preda alle onde simboli della fragilità umana. Alberi e rami che si intrecciano e si dimenano come anime dannate in cerca di pace.

Cielo plumbeo che dirige l'orchestra funebre.
