Boracay Island has one of the Best Sunsets in the Philippines

It was May 2014 when I was planning for a trip to Boracay. A friend of a friend on Facebook tagged me along to join her friends for a trip to Boracay if I was interested in meeting other people. I was obliged to join them since I had no problem being with others. One guy was a schoolmate in college and his girlfriend was friendly. All the girls were friendly in the group so I had no problem being friends with them instantly.

We booked a flight to Iloilo from Cebu as it was cheap. From the airport of Iloilo we took a private van to bring us to Caticlan, our gateway to Boracay.

We took a boat to Boracay Island. We settled in our hotel while I was bringing my laptop for work. I worked a little bit then we went outside to spend our time on the beach the whole afternoon. We wanted to see the happenings until we could find a place for dinner.

Of course, sunset viewing in Boracay is one of the free things to do in Boracay. We fell in love with the sunset.

Even though the island was crowded with people, it didn't stop us from falling in love with the view.

It was a magical moment. It was nice to see the sailboats around.

Boracay Island will never fail you if you visit it in the summer.

To be honest, I enjoyed my four-day stay here and all I did was just do the sunset viewing in the afternoon. I just grabbed some mango shakes and a little snack and sat down on the sandy beach.

People would say that Boracay Island is overrated but it is still one of the best islands in the whole world up to this day.

I realized I now have many sunset subjects for my painting very soon.

I missed Boracay. My husband has never been here yet. Maybe in the future with the kids.
