Hello friends of #hive, I begin by wishing that everyone is in good health and has a great day.
This afternoon, a friend called me to chat for a while since we hadn't seen each other for several days and so we decided to go for a coffee. We went to the cozy snack bar at the Hotel Casa Granda and while I was enjoying the espresso, the beauty of Santiago de Cuba unfolded before us.
From our spot, we enjoyed a good view of Céspedes Park, an emblematic place that has witnessed historical and cultural moments. The intense aroma of freshly made coffee intertwined with the murmur of the city and created an ideal atmosphere for conversation.
The espresso, which was served in a white cup, was the star of the afternoon. The dark color and the cream promised a robust flavor full of nuances. Each sip was a journey through the bitter and sweet notes that danced on my palate, awakening my senses and filling the environment with energy. As we talked about life, dreams, and the challenges we faced, coffee catalyzed our ideas and reflections.
All around us, the park was vibrant with life. In the background, the majestic Cathedral stood with its baroque architecture highlighting the historical richness of the city. The cathedral, a symbol of faith and tradition, seemed to tell us stories of times past as we fell silent between each topic of conversation and between each sip of coffee.
Every time I lifted the cup, I felt that the coffee not only woke me up physically, but also enlivened the conversation and deepened our connection. The combination of the intense flavor of the coffee and the company of my friend reminded me of the importance of those simple but meaningful moments. My hometown with its contagious energy and rich cultural heritage, always has something new to offer.
Today's afternoon became a special memory, a pause in the daily routine that revitalizes the spirit and strengthens friendships. Without a doubt, a place I will always want to return to, especially for its irresistible espresso that transforms every encounter into a memorable experience.
Don't forget to tell me if you like coffee as much as I do and if you think that enjoying it with a friend is very pleasant.
