I managed to keep my new running streak going today by doing an 11km run after my first shift at work. The weather forecast had suggested showers today, and you can see by my first picture that it was looking grim for a while.
However, about 10 minutes later, once I had gotten onto the Bath / Bristol cycle path, it was looking nice and sunny again.
By the time I had done about 10km, I seemed to run out of energy, and the last little way home turned into quite a struggle. I must start my runs a bit slower until my fitness improves.
The predicted showers turned up later. Just as I was walking to pick up my bus for my second shift at work.
