The Curious Contents of My Bag: Let's Explore it !

If 2 weeks ago, I was showing you guys my skin care, this time I am going to show my hidden treasures. Over the course of years, I have this type of content where I let you guys peek into what my essentials are. My style has changed throughout the years and these days as I grow older, I enjoy wearing a lot more feminine bags. In the past, my favorite product was an outdoor brand called Eiger. They specialize in high quality backpacks for daily life and mountaineering. You can check out some of my previous backpack story over here

But since I found that totebag can be convenient and some of them can fit a laptop inside and my essentials, I ended up liking them more. I can totally remove the need to have double backpack. When I am traveling too, I find it a lot better to just use a tote bag exploring the city and places rather than carrying a backpack. I recently got this tote bag from my current local bag shop. They have a minimalist color palette but use durable and water-resistant material for their bag. I eventually got this tote that looks like Le Pliage Original from Longchamp. I wasn’t intending to buy a dupe but this tote bag apparently looks cute and fits my laptop when I did a walk-in into my local store. However, after I found out that Longchamp produces a tote that fits a laptop, I might want that for my next Xmas gift but for now, let me show you inside of my tote bag.

A notebook- Must and Have to bring

When I work anywhere either a library, cafe or co-working spot, I always bring these items. I bought a notebook with me to write my ideas, journal and sometimes doodle. A notebook is a must item in my daily essentials. I also journal more when I am outside than inside.

The pouches that has it all

The next one is quite an upgrade. I usually don’t use this bag but this was from Ray’s and it fits all of my stationeries that are growing since I am studying and sometimes needed to make notes. Besides this bag also holds my TWS, my other phone, cables, sticky notes and office type supplies. I usually store vitamins and some medications inside. They hold so much items that I am even surprised what I can bring outside in a totebag.

Headphone - not quite noise-cancelling but good one!

You’d be actually surprised that my bag can also hold another case of my headphone which seems bulky but somehow it fits inside. I don’t like putting my headphones on without a bag because last time I did it, I broke it so many times. Now, with a pouch, my headphones are safe and secure.

    Laptop and its friends

Inside that olive tote, I also have my laptop sleeve with its charger, mousemat, and mouse. I was surprised they fit too. It’s funny that it's actually a bag inside a bag at this point but honestly, it is way better than what I used to carry because the size of the bag usually compelled me to bring more compulsively. With this totebag my life becomes a lot more minimal since I also shrink the major weight of it like my laptop which is now a lot smaller than before.

    My bulky wallet

Besides those, I also bring umbrellas, a make -up pouch (when needed), and a water bottle along with my wallet. I used to hate having a wallet let alone the one that looks like that. In the past, everything I had has this tomboy-ish look and from top to bottom, it's always eiger products. But now, I only keep a few of them and gave my wallet to my dad's. Now, I am choosing a more feminine styled wallet and I've been loving products from miniso because compared to others, they simply look aesthetic and durable.

At this point, my bag is almost like a doraemon’s pouch where you can find pretty much almost anything inside and it can fit so many items that you might need for an emergency. It was a good deal finding this bag but now that I know there is the brand name version of it, I might actually check them out because it seems like for the price, they offer good quality tote that can last more than 2-3 years and an investment itself.

Somehow when you’re comparing it to my previous backpack obsessed style, I’ve changed quite a bit. I suppose by age, I wanted to look a lot more feminine and have this “soft” aesthetic instead of my rough backpack lifestyle. I notice that with a backpack lifestyle, there are some life inconveniences that I just got tired of. After switching to so many different styles, I think style and our fashion can change how it affects our surroundings including how people treat us. Perhaps, it’s just my personal experience but did you notice something similar too? Let me know what you think.
