El gatito que ven... se llama pimienta, pesa mas de 8kgs y medio y está por cumplir 10 años.
Me acuerdo cuando lo rescatamos, no tenia ni abiertos los ojos y lloraba tanto que parecia una alarma. Lo llevamos al veterinario y nos dijo que se iba a morir, que no intentemos salvarlo, pero igualmente insistimos.
Le hicimos alimento liquido y una especie de mamadera para que pueda comer, lo cual hizo sin dudar... A medida que fueron pasando los dias, fue creciendo. Recuerdo haberle hecho una incuvadora con una lampara para que no tenga frio.
De a poco empezó a caminar más, se nos trepaba por el pantalos para que lo acariciemos.
Intentamos un par de veces sacarlo a pasear pero le tiene terror a los autos y a la demás gente, siempre se terminaba haciendo pis encima el pobrecito.
A medida que pasaron los meses, él seguia creciendo... hasta llegar a sus 8kgs que pesa actualmente UNA BESTIA. Siempre tuvo mucha energia, aunque actualmente está mucho mas tranquilito (por suerte!!). Hoy en dia convive con nuestra perrita, Anita, a quien rescatamos hace ya 2 años.
Anita es muy enérgica y pimi (como le decimos en casa) ya no tiene voluntad para andar jugando todo el dia, asi que se mudó a la parte de atrás para estar más tranquilo, aunque siempre viene de visita como hoy que le pude sacar esta foto!

The kitten you see... his name is Pepper, he weighs more than 8 and a half kilos and is about to turn 10 years old.
I remember when we rescued him, he didn't even have his eyes open and he was crying so much that it sounded like an alarm. We took him to the vet and he told us that he was going to die, that we shouldn't try to save him, but we insisted anyway.
We gave him liquid food and a kind of bottle so he could eat, which he did without hesitation... As the days went by, he grew. I remember making him an incubator with a lamp so he wouldn't be cold.
Little by little he started to walk more, he would climb up our pants so we could pet him.
We tried to take him for a walk a couple of times but he's terrified of cars and other people, the poor guy always ended up peeing on himself.
As the months passed, he continued to grow... until he reached 8kgs, which he currently weighs A BEAST. He always had a lot of energy, although currently he is much calmer (luckily!!). Today he lives with our dog, Anita, whom we rescued 2 years ago.
Anita is very energetic and Pimi (as we call her at home) no longer has the will to play all day, so she moved to the back to be calmer, although she always comes to visit like today when I was able to get this photo!
