I spent a week immersed in all the uploading and organizing and tiny tasks required to get my songs up on most platforms.
Today for the first time, I listened to my EP from start to finish on YouTube. I’d share the link but I want to wait until it’s up on other platforms first.
I searched to see if you can find my songs on Instagram reels/stories and YouTube shorts, they are, in fact available! All of them.
“Art vs. Artist” is a song I started writing on a train song. I think it goes well with any kind of travel video.
“Sun Shone Blue” is a fun acapella track and a reminder to be in the moment.
“Astral Blanket” is a dark self reflection during the pits of self loathing, something I haven’t felt for many years but a feeling I still remember vividly.
“Mengmengmeng” is an eerie dream that stays with you all day, not foreboding, but carrying with it hidden meanings asking to be unraveled.
“Mirror” is my understanding of life’s secrets compounded into a single sentence, repeated in melody as a meditation.
I still have a lot more to share about these songs and what led to their genesis and I will share links to them as soon as they are up on Spotify, Apple, and regional platforms, but if you want a sneak peak you can search the title name along with “I+Everything” and you’ll find them on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok in the music library where you can add them to your posts.
And I still have the music videos to accompany Art vs. Artist and Mirror. Hope to have another video for Sun Shone Blue sometime before April.
Today I am going to see a band I’ve wanted to see for two years. I hardly have the energy but hopefully it’ll fill me up so I can get home and start working on some new songs!
Here is the band I’ll see live today:
I hope one day I can be on stage with that much energy and maybe even play in a band with other people 🔥
