Hello Hivers ๐๐,
The beginning of planting season arises at the first week of the rainy season for those that experiences the two seasons just here in Nigeria although for those that experience more than two seasons they will also have a starting point to their planting of crops. It is very obvious that when you plant early the production will be also early and it also give rise to quick harvest. Sometimes when you plant some crop such as tomato and pepper you need a thorough supervision because when it start to grow up to reach it maturity stage there will be some kind of other task you need to complete.
- Some tomato plants reaches their maturity stage within 4 to 5 months of planting. But we also have some improve varieties which reaches their maturity state earlier than that. For this you can see that when the harvest was going on there was also some little changes in the leaves and also in the fruit as well. Some portion of the leaves get dried off due to the nature of the plant and the production. There are some changes in the fruit to some extent whereas some other portion came out clean. I took some pictures of how they production went even with the harvest. It's very good experience to attain as individual farmer who is responsible for massive production.
The portion at which the tomato plant grow up and show it full maturity stage lies between a moment where they is more of flowers at every node on the parent plant.
- At first when the tomato plant start to show up more flowers it means that the production will be massive and hence, the time will always arrive and ripe for more productive days.
Even when there are more competition in production this is what I mean, when there are more of unwanted plants growing up at the same time with the cultivated crop the production will still stands but the response will be extremely low.
The tomato production is always related to weather condition. When the condition is very favorable it's awesome to kickstart from the scratch and produce more food.
