Good evening to all my Hive friends!
I recently started receiving Thriposha, the government-provided nutritional supplement for growing children and pregnant mothers. Thriposha is a flour mixture made from grains like mung beans, wheat, and corn, combined with other nutritious ingredients.
Today, for tea time, I decided to make a delicious version of Aggala using Thriposha. My child absolutely loved it!
For many years, Thriposha has been a key part of Sri Lankan nutrition, especially for children and those in need of additional nourishment. By incorporating it into the traditional Sri Lankan sweet Aggala, I created a tasty, energy-boosting snack that's perfect for tea time or as a quick, healthy treat.
Made with Thriposha, sugar or jaggery, and coconut, this version of Aggala is not only delicious but also packed with essential nutrients. Let’s see how to prepare it!
Required Ingredients...
🍀Thriposha 100g.
🍀1/2 cup of grated coconut.
🍀 A pinch of salt.
🍀 Sugar as need.
🍀 medium warm water.
Method of making....
1 Step.
First, mix the Thriposha with sugar, grated coconut, and a pinch of salt.
2 Step.
Next, gradually add warm water while mixing with your hands until well combined. Then, shape the mixture into small balls.
These Thriposha Aggala are a simple yet nutritious treat that combines both nourishment and flavor in a single bite. Whether you enjoy them with a cup of tea or as a quick snack, they offer a delightful way to incorporate Thriposha into your diet.
