In other areas, the name of this food may be different. I like this food, with savory sticky rice mixed with brown sugar and sweet potato made, the size of a marble. With a combination of savory and sweet, it's really delicious.
In traditional markets this food is widely sold. As usual I prefer to make it rather than buy it. Because it is also very easy to make.
The ingredients are.
. 2 sweet potatoes of any kind
. 2 cups of sticky rice
. 5 tablespoons of tapioca flour
. 150 grams of brown sugar
. 1 cup coconut milk
. 2 pandan leaves
. Salt to taste.
The first step is to steam the sweet potato until it is soft. Once it is soft. Mash the sweet potatoes using a spoon or other masher. Then add five tablespoons of tapioca flour.
Knead the sweet potato and flour until smooth. Once mixed thoroughly, roll the dough into balls the size of marbles.
Pour two glasses of water into a pan, cook until boiling. Add brown sugar and pandan leaves cook until the brown sugar dissolves. Enter sweet potato dough and cook for about another five minutes, and turn off the stove.
For the sticky rice, wash it first until clean. And add two glasses of water. For sticky rice don't use too much water, if there is too much Water the sticky rice will become soft. Cook until done.
If the sticky rice is cooked, put it sweet potato balls on sticky rice,and add coconut milk to taste.
Food this is good to eat while relaxing and gathering with family. Children really like this food. It tastes sweet and savory.
