Leaving in a developing country

There are two categories of countries, we have the developed and the developing countries. Nigeria falls under the developing countries, so my city is not yet or not fully developed, it's still under construction.
Shout out to some people in the government for a job well done all this years but it's still not enough, there's a lot to be done.
It's sad that many of the people in government are contributing more to the problem of the country through embezzling funds, the money that ought to be used to do something meaningful in the society for people to benefit, one person will just forward everything to his or her account, leaving the country in shambles.

Nigeria ought to be one of the so called developed country but reverse is the case, we're still struggling to survive.
Before Nigeria is regarded as the giant of Africa, but now, I don't even think we're worth to be called the giant of West Africa talkless of the whole Africa.

In Nigeria, one has to have a car that's very rugged because of the roads, most of our roads are bad, and with this a lot of accident occur per time especially because of the pot holes.
I can remember vividly a time when one of my brothers (not blood brother though) had an accident, we use to have vigil every second thursday of the month, so he was coming from home that very evening on his way to church, he was riding a bike, he got a spot that there's a very big pot hole, so he was trying to dodge it and there's one other person coming towards his direction trying to dodge the pot hole, before they knew it they both clashed and it result to a vital accident.

Funny enough, the bike man that hit my brother was not really affected but when he saw that my brother was not standing up, he thought he's dead so he ran away, when we also got there we met him lying on the road helpless with no one to rescue him, thank God we got there on time. Many thanks to the doctor and nurses that attended to us that day, they really tried for us, we were attended to on time and he also had a wound on his leg, it was stitched and after some days he was back to his feet.

Pot holes are causing a whole lot of damage, because drivers and riders will always try to dodge them, and in the process the unexpected might happen.
Our roads too do not have proper drainage system, most times when rain fall everywhere will be in a complete mess. There's a place in my city that when rain falls, all cars, motorcycle and bikes need to park and wait till the flood stops or just follow another route.

We've seen cases where flood carries a tricycle away fully loaded with passengers, leaving all the people inside dead, till this moment the deadly spot is still there and yet the government has not done anything about it.
In my city you hardly see traffic light, because most drivers won't follow it, especially the commercial drivers, most of the drivers are too stubborn to be controlled by a programed machine hahaha. It's the traffic control officers that are always on the road controlling traffic, I think they preferred to be controlled by people rather than being controlled by computers.
