Mother Nature treated us to a last little bit of Old Man Winter with a heavy snow squall up in the hills and Lynx Creek this morning as well as off and on buts of sleet back home.
All in all it was a very miserable day to be outdoors.
It was gray and damp this morning and a light rain was beginning to fall as we began our walk. It was cold enough even with my jacket and the rain made me even more chilly. I made sure to keep Lulu moving along so that we could put in our 2 miles before the rain soaked us both..
No one was out at Lynx when we headed down the road towards the creek.
It was a quick descent down the road to the creek but the snowfall had increased significantly by that time so we spent just a short time exploring before heading back up the road.
There was almost an inch of very fluffy snow on the ground when we got back to the car but fortunately by the time we got home it had turned to a sleety rain.
The moisture is great but I'm hoping it's dry tomorrow.
