18 And King David came in and stood before the LORD, and said, Lord LORD, who am I, and what is my house, that you have brought me hither? 19 And even this seemed little to you, Lord Jehovah, since you have also spoken of the house of your servant in the future. Is this how man proceeds, Lord Jehovah? 20 And what else can David add when talking to you? For you know your servant, Lord Jehovah. 21 You have done all these great things by your word and according to your heart, making them known to your servant. 22 Therefore you have exalted yourself, Jehovah God; for there is none like you, nor is there any God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears. 23 And who is like your people, like Israel, a unique nation on earth? For God was to rescue him as his people, and to give him a name, and to do great things in his favor, and terrible works for your land, for the love of your people whom you rescued for yourself from Egypt, from the nations, and from their gods. 24 For you established your people Israel as your people forever; and you, O Jehovah, went to them as God. 25 Now therefore, Jehovah God, confirm forever the word which you have spoken concerning your servant and his house, and do according to what you have said. 26 May your name be magnified forever, and it may be said: The Lord of hosts is God over Israel; and may the house of your servant David be established before you. 27 For you, Jehovah of hosts, God of Israel, revealed in the hearing of your servant, saying, I will build you a house. For this reason your servant has found courage in his heart to make this supplication before you. 28 Now therefore, Jehovah God, you are God, and your words are true, and you have promised this good to your servant. 29 Now be pleased to bless the house of your servant, so that it may remain before you forever, for you, Jehovah God, have said so, and with your blessing your servant's house will be blessed forever.
2 Samuel 7:18-29
Let us remember that the word of God is recorded that David is called: a man after God's own heart. Even though we know that David has gone through terrible failures, he also had a great life. And very different from other people who have occupied positions of power and great prestige, David understood very well that the position and prestige he occupied was not for his own benefit. , everything he had accomplished was for the sake of God and for the glory of God. David understood very well what was recorded in the Bible many years later:
11 He who is greatest among you, let him be your servant.

David, even knowing that he was recognized by God as king and was exalted and applauded by the people, he also refers to himself as a servant of God, thus promising that all those blessings that he would receive would be used to glorify and magnify the name of God. God. This would not be limited to just David, all the gifts that had been given to David would be used from generation to generation ultimately always for the praise and glory of God.
We have the privilege and opportunity to humble ourselves under the powerful hand of God in the midst of all the blessings and grace that God gives us in our hands, perhaps we are magnified by those around us. No matter how humble or how elevated our position is or what position we hold in some prestigious place according to the world, we must always keep in mind and engraved in our hearts that all good things come from God and are for him.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift comes down from above, from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation nor shadow of turning.

If we maintain our lives in a constant posture of continuous gratitude in service to our God, we will truly be great for the love of God.

Dios nos bendice con toda bendición espiritual y de estas podemos disfrutar mucho más aún cuando le servimos a él y a su obra.

Pues tú conoces a tu siervo, Señor Jehová. 21 Todas estas grandezas has hecho por tu palabra y conforme a tu corazón, haciéndolas saber a tu siervo. 22 Por tanto, tú te has engrandecido, Jehová Dios; por cuanto no hay como tú, ni hay Dios fuera de ti, conforme a todo lo que hemos oído con nuestros oídos. 23 ¿Y quién como tu pueblo, como Israel, nación singular en la tierra? Porque fue Dios para rescatarlo por pueblo suyo, y para ponerle nombre, y para hacer grandezas a su favor, y obras terribles a tu tierra, por amor de tu pueblo que rescataste para ti de Egipto, de las naciones y de sus dioses. 24 Porque tú estableciste a tu pueblo Israel por pueblo tuyo para siempre; y tú, oh Jehová, fuiste a ellos por Dios. 25 Ahora pues, Jehová Dios, confirma para siempre la palabra que has hablado sobre tu siervo y sobre su casa, y haz conforme a lo que has dicho. 26 Que sea engrandecido tu nombre para siempre, y se diga: Jehová de los ejércitos es Dios sobre Israel; y que la casa de tu siervo David sea firme delante de ti. 27 Porque tú, Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, revelaste al oído de tu siervo, diciendo: Yo te edificaré casa. Por esto tu siervo ha hallado en su corazón valor para hacer delante de ti esta súplica. 28 Ahora pues, Jehová Dios, tú eres Dios, y tus palabras son verdad, y tú has prometido este bien a tu siervo. 29 Ten ahora a bien bendecir la casa de tu siervo, para que permanezca perpetuamente delante de ti, porque tú, Jehová Dios, lo has dicho, y con tu bendición será bendita la casa de tu siervo para siempre.
2 Samuel 7:18-29
Recordemos que la palabra de Dios está registrado que se le llama a David: hombre conforme al corazón de Dios. Aún cuando sabemos que David ha atravesado fracasos terribles, también tuvo una vida grandiosa Y muy diferente a otras personas que han ocupado posiciones de poder y de mucho prestigio, David entendió muy bien que la posición y el prestigio que él ocupaba no era para beneficio propio, todo lo que él había logrado era por causa de Dios y para la gloria de Dios. David entendía muy bien aquello que quedó registrado en la Biblia muchos años después:
11 El que es el mayor de vosotros, sea vuestro siervo.
Mateo 23:11
David aún sabiendo que era reconocido por dios como rey y era engrandecido y ovacionado por el pueblo, él se refiere asimismo como siervo de Dios prometiendo así que todas esas bendiciones que el recibiría serían usadas para glorificar y engrandecer el nombre de Dios. Esto no se limitaría solamente a David, todos los dones que se le habían otorgado a David serían utilizados de generación en generación finalmente siempre para alabanza y gloria de Dios.
Nosotros tenemos el privilegio y la oportunidad de humillarnos bajo la poderosa mano de Dios en medio de todas las bendiciones y gracia que Dios nos entrega en nuestras manos, quizás somos engrandecido por parte de quienes nos rodean. Sin importar cual humilde o cuán elevada sea nuestra posición o que cargo desempeñemos en algún lugar prestigioso según el mundo, siempre debemos tener en mente y grabado en nuestros corazón que todo lo bueno proviene de Dios y es para el.
17 Toda buena dádiva y todo don perfecto desciende de lo alto, del Padre de las luces, en el cual no hay mudanza, ni sombra de variación.
Santiago 1:17
Si mantenemos nuestra vida en constante postura de agradecimiento continuo en servicio a nuestro Dios, realmente seremos grandes por amor a Dios.
