It's incredible that for this "FungiFriday" we found a "reishi" mushroom [Esp/Eng].

I love Fridays, the day I enjoy the posts shared on this beautiful ¨FungiFridayCommunity¨:  This has undoubtedly been one of the most beautiful and exciting weeks since my grandparents and I started looking for mushrooms for my posts because we found species of mushrooms that we never thought we would find.

Esta semana ha estado lloviendo seguido, y creo que es lo que ha contribuido que hayamos dado con este hongo tan significativo, pero ante de enseñarles este hongo tan especial le quiero dar a conocer otro hongo que hallamos en uno de los senderos casi al ingreso del predio

It's been raining a lot this week, and I think that's what contributed to us finding this very significant mushroom. But before showing you this very special mushroom, I want to show you another mushroom that we found on one of the trails near the entrance to the property.

Esta no es la primera vez que hallamos este género de hongos, lo interesante no está en el tipo, sino en la peculiar cantidad que hemos visto en un solo tronco, honestamente no recuerdo que hayamos encontrado en algún momento esta cantidad de hongos de una misma especie, se trata del género de hongo conocido como ¨Trametes¨:  un hongo muy llamativo por su textura y la forma, también lo es su color

No terminaba de salir de mi asombro de haber encontrado tanta cantidad del hongo, que se acercaba otra gran sorpresa, resulta que este hongo ¨Ganoderma-lucidum¨:  es realmente muy difícil de hallar, y creo que es la primera vez que hallamos un hongo igual, incluso ni mi abuelo Luis tuvo la oportunidad de encontrar algo igual, es lo que menciono mi abuela cuando hallamos este hongo

You can't imagine the happiness on my grandmother's face when she found these mushrooms. She couldn't believe her amazement as she photographed the second species we found.
