The Intrusion (2021) - Movie Review

Searching for a nice movie to watch a few days ago, I saw this one.

Action. Thriller. Mystery.

Its title: The Intrusion.

I was intrigued and did not search for it on imdb. It seemed promising. Read on to see if it was worth it (in my opinion) or not.

The movie is about a couple who decided to leave their busy hometown and build a beautiful, big, secluded house in a small town.

Everything seems to be going harmoniously, the couple is very affectionate with each other, but the mystery starts when the house is being invaded by unknown intruders.

Who are they and what could they be looking for in their home?

Meera, a psychologist and her husband, had no enemies but this does not look like a random hit.

As the police is looking to find who did this, a sequence of strange and maybe interconnected facts as well as a second intrusion, set the step for a few revelations. Or is it just a false alarm?

I cannot say more because I do not want to create spoilers.

All in all, I would give to this movie a 5 out of 10. (It has 5.3 in imDb)
Even though the efforts, actors and idea were good, there seemed to be some unconnected points and there were moments when the movie was too slow or too unreal.

We enjoyed the movie because we made fun of some points, but if I saw it alone, I am not sure if I would have enjoyed as much.
