Hoa Binh province is a great tourist destination for those who want to escape the noise and bustle of the smoky city and immerse themselves in the wild beauty of the Northwest mountains of Vietnam. I have had the opportunity to experience and explore many interesting places here and below are the feelings I want to share.
Unlike the hot weather in Hanoi city, Hoa Binh is always cool even in the summer. Nature here is also favored by nature with many beautiful landscapes. From gentle rivers, peaceful lakes to soothing hot springs, all contribute to creating a majestic natural landscape. Come here because it is an opportunity to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and immerse yourself in nature.
We chose Serena Resort Kim Boi - Hoa Binh as our resort, it offers a peaceful place to relax. Inspired by the beauty and culture of the Northwest, this resort is built with natural materials such as stone, wood, bamboo, thatched roofs, everything seems to blend with nature.
One of the highlights of Serena Resort Kim Boi is the Japanese-style Onsen bathing area. Hot spring bathing is very good for your health so do not miss this service. We booked a room priced at 1,800,000 VND (70 USD/1 night), this is an average room type, however you can choose other room types.
Located on a 30-hectare plot of land in the famous Kim Boi mineral spring tourist area, from Serena Resort, you can see lush rice fields nourished by the gentle Boi River and surrounded by mountains. majestic mountains.
If you travel from Hanoi, you will need 2 hours to travel to the resort - this place promises to be an ideal getaway for those who are looking for peace and relaxation. Guests can relax and rejuvenate in the beneficial mineral waters of the indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Furthermore, you can cycle leisurely along the banks of the Boi River, immersing yourself in the quiet atmosphere around. The resort also offers free access to the gym, children's play area and fishing pond, ensuring guests of all ages have plenty of fun activities during their stay.
It has 150 rooms, divided into 6 main types: Deluxe Nature View, Zen House, Zen Suite, Bungalow, Garden Villa and Onsen Villa. Each room is decorated in its own style.
During my 2 days and 1 night stay at the 4-star Serena room, I was very impressed by the comfort and luxury it brought. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, offering all the amenities one would expect in a high-quality accommodation.
Breakfast served at Serena Resort is of a high standard, offering many delicious options to start the day. Whether you like a hearty meal or a light snack, there is something to please every taste, I personally love pho and banh mi so I ordered these dishes. The restaurant does not serve dinner and lunch, you have to go out to eat. Finding another place to eat is quite difficult because this resort is completely separate from the outside, you will need to rent a motorbike to go 15km to find other restaurants.
