Have you ever been told that something was impossible - only to watch someone else go and do it?
Sometimes we think of limits as hard truths rather than untested assumptions. But , what if the only thing standing between impossible and possible is the person brave enough to try?
Who Decides What’s Possible?
Imagine if we continued to believe that humans could never run a mile in under four minutes. For a while it was a biological certainty - until Roger Bannister shattered that barrier in 1954. And that’s all it took, because the moment he did, the floodgates opened. Dozens of runners followed in his footsteps, proving that the limitation had never been physical. It was mental.
And we see the same story playing out across history. Take flying for instance. It was impossible, right, until it wasn’t. Video calls: science fiction… until they weren’t. Barriers break the second someone challenges them.
So why do we still tell ourselves this or that can’t be done?
So What’s Your ‘Impossible’?
Is it big career move? Maybe it’s (finally) writing (or finishing) that book, or launching that business, or stepping into a space where no one looks like you. Get your brave on!
And you know what? The scariest part isn’t the act itself - it’s being first. The unknown is uncomfortable. But isn’t history bursting with evidence that what seems impossible today is just waiting for someone to make the first move.
So, here’s the real question:
What if your impossible is just an unattempted first?
And what if you are the one meant to change that?
