We went shopping for some toys yesterday and let Kaleb kind of pick out a few.
Well, he picked them up and held them longer than most of the other stuff he was grabbing at while running around the shop.
These are a couple of things me and Aimee got him.
The shark monster trucks are actually pretty cool and were one of the first things he pointed at and wanted to look at.
Once he realised the mouths could open and shut, he was sold. Also, he roared when he saw them, which is one of his party tricks when he sees a dinosuar, lion, or general monster looking thing.
The pack of Hot Wheels was another thing that had to have when he saw it. I usually pick him up a hot wheels car when we're out and about, and cars, in general, have become his obsession.
He waves at people driving past us and even greets them when they're parked. He plays with his toys and rides around on his car in the house and outside.
Here is what his nanny got him.
He loves diggers and trucks, too. He actually gets so excited when a lorry, bin truck, or fire truck drives last, and we've seen a few tractors that have left him in awe.
It's so funny to see his reaction to everything in the world, it's all so new to him. But, I wonder if his obsession with vehicles will be a big part of his life as he gets older.
He could potentially become a mechanic or even an engineer if this is something he holds onto. Or, it could just be a passing phase.
Phase or not, we figured it's a good idea to buy him stuff like this, considering he enjoys it, even if just for the time being.
