Genus Favolaschia | 19 09 2024 | North Acèh Regency, Acèh, Indonesia |
That night, while exploring a small forest area on the outskirts of the village, I found something interesting on the branches of a sangon tree. With the help of a flashlight and a macro lens, I saw a very beautiful small mushroom from the genus Favolaschia.
The characteristic of this mushroom is its shape which resembles a small fan with a surface filled with unique pores. The bright color contrasts with the dark night, as if it emits its own light from within the forest.
I'm interested in taking some photos from different angles. The process of shooting at night presents its own challenges, especially in terms of lighting, but the results are very satisfying. The texture and detail of the pores on the surface of the mushroom are clearly visible and exude a beauty that is rarely seen.
This mushroom grows alone on a twig that has begun to rot, adding a mysterious and magical impression to the night. This discovery was a special moment that enriched my experience as a nature observer.
