What a start to the New Year.
It is only two days old but it has been fluffing awesome already!
Today is always a poignant day if you are a Rangers football fan.
It is the anniversary of the Ibrox disaster when 66 people died.
2nd January 1971 was the date of the Old Firm game (the traditional name for the Rangers vs. Celtic derby match). A crush on Stairway 13 at the end of the match resulted in 66 deaths and over 200 injuries.
This afternoon we played Celtic...
Even though the league is probably over we did get some bragging rights and thrashed them 3-0.
Mind you that was the excuse from their manager, basically they were so far ahead in the league that the team couldn't be arsed to turn up.
Well it got me to thinking...
The manager of Rangers is under severe pressure, he still is, but this result may have bought him some time.
The team came out flying, winning all second balls and putting Celtic players under pressure.
They were are it, they did it, they just fluffing did it.
Just Do It
I know we are all aware of the slogan from Nike the sports apparel manufacturer, but this is 2025 and I am going to Just Do It.
I can often be the King of Procrastination or the JIT Master the acronym standing for Just In Time, but this year has been a case of Just Do It.
I have been saying I was going to play the degen game and or trade again big time.
So yesterday I just fluffing did it.
I put 50$ on Base and 50$ on Sol. I then proceeded onto virtuals.io and aped into some AI agents with the Base $ and onto Jup with the Sol assets.
Fast forward 24 hours and I took 30$ profit from Base and 35$ profit from Sol.
I know I know it was only 24 hours, well I got the bug again.
I just fluffing did it!
The other thing, as I did mention 2 things yesterday, was that I saw a corner shelf that Mrs T had bought donkeys ages ago and was gathering dust in a corner.
Unfortunately the corner was not the intended final destination of the corner.
So in this new spirit of Just Do It... I put up the shelf, a pain in the arse as one of the walls she wanted was fluffing stone, the joys of 150 year old houses!
But at the end of the day... I just did it!
Today being the 2nd is a public holiday in Scotland as we traditionally have a long Hogmanay or New Year's Eve/Day so need the 2nd to recover.
It was also reheated leftovers of the Steak Pie from New Year's Day.
Tomorrow is going to be a town day and give Mrs T her favourite treat of visiting the town's charity shops!
Apparently she saw a winter coat for £8...
She ummed and aahed and didn't buy it.
She only told me today, so I said enough of that nonsense.
We will go back and if it is there tomorrow, then you buy, yes Just Do It!
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful new year!
