El día de ayer fue un día muy especial, mi pequeña Abi estuvo de cumpleaños, y lo disfrutamos con ella, de hecho le regale mi tiempo, mi esposa hizo lo mismo y su pequeño hermano también puso su grano de arena para que todos juntos como familia disfrutáramos de su día especial, no hicimos nada para nosotros, solo compartimos con ella desde que despertó hasta que se fue a dormir.
Pensar que hace poco la cargaba en brazos para dormirla y ver que ya han pasado 9 años me llena un poco de nostalgia. Realmente amo a mis hijos y pensar que crecen tan rápido es una doble sensación, por un lado me alegra y por otro me hace pensar que el tiempo es demasiado corto como para desperdiciarlo en cosas vanas, y más si somos padres, debemos aprovechar al máximo el tiempo que se nos permite tenerlos con nosotros.
Como familia tenemos un proceder en los cumpleaños y eso es que el cumpleañero decide lo que se va a hacer ese día, claro está, todo de acuerdo a las posibilidades, pero nos gusta hacerlo así y mis hijos disfrutan de ese tiempo de “señorío” por decirlo de alguna manera.
Mi hija decidió que fuéramos a comer pollo, así que eso hicimos, nos llevamos a su prima que ha compartido con ella desde que nació, le ayuda mucho y estamos agradecidos, así que todos nos fuimos a comer y disfrutar. Fue un tiempo agradable, mientras comíamos conversábamos y nos reíamos de las ocurrencias de cada uno de ellos, sobre todo mi hijo menor que es sumamente ocurrente y astuto.
Después de eso caminamos un rato para después tomar algunas fotos del momento, y luego fuimos donde su abuela materna, lugar donde le picamos una torta y cantamos cumpleaños, hicimos lo mismo donde su abuela paterna, así que comió dos tortas y escucho su cumpleaños en dos oportunidades.
Mi hijo le pregunto si había sido su mejor cumpleaños y le dijo que no, pero que si le gustó mucho. Sé que anteriormente hemos realizado cosas muy divertidas con ellos en sus días especiales, así que ayer no pudimos superarlo, sin embargo la agasajamos y le regalamos una tarde para recordar.
Ahora bien, la reflexión es la siguiente, no hay mejor regalo para los niños que estar con ellos, definitivamente la presencia de sus padres es lo que los llena de felicidad, por encima de los juguetes, los regalos y demás, el simple hecho de que estemos con ellos es una muestra de amor, una tan grande que supera todo lo demás. Mis hijos saben esto y lo disfrutan, razón por la cual le agradezco a Dios, porque sé que hay niños que no cuentan con eso por “x” situaciones y son afectados en su desarrollo.
En conclusión y para terminar, aprovechemos las ocasiones con nuestros niños, seamos su influencia lo más posible, eso definitivamente los ayudara y será de gran bendición para sus vidas, y no solo eso sino que lo replicaran en sus posteriores familias si Dios quiere, y eso mis estimados lectores es lo más importante.

Yesterday was a very special day, my little Abi had her birthday, and we enjoyed it with her, in fact I gave her my time, my wife did the same and her little brother also did his part so that we could all be together as family enjoyed her special day, we didn't do anything for ourselves, we just shared with her from the moment she woke up until she went to sleep.
Thinking that I recently held her in my arms to put her to sleep and seeing that 9 years have passed fills me with a bit of nostalgia. I really love my children and to think that they grow so quickly is a double sensation, on the one hand it makes me happy and on the other it makes me think that time is too short to waste on vain things, and even more so if we are parents, we should make the most of it. the time we are allowed to have them with us.
As a family we have a procedure on birthdays and that is that the birthday boy decides what is going to be done that day, of course, everything according to the possibilities, but we like to do it that way and my children enjoy that time of “lordship.” put it in some way.
My daughter decided that we should go eat chicken, so that's what we did, we took her cousin who she has shared with her since she was born, she helps her a lot and we are grateful, so we all went to eat and enjoy. It was a pleasant time, while we ate we talked and laughed at the ideas of each one of them, especially my youngest son who is extremely witty and clever.
After that we walked for a while to then take some photos of the moment, and then we went to his maternal grandmother, where we ate a cake and sang birthday, we did the same to his paternal grandmother, so he ate two cakes and listened to his birthday in two chances.
My son asked her if it had been her best birthday and she said no, but he did like her a lot. I know that we have previously done very fun things with them on her special days, so yesterday we couldn't get over it, however we entertained her and gave her an afternoon to remember.
Now, the reflection is the following, there is no better gift for children than being with them, definitely the presence of their parents is what fills them with happiness, above toys, gifts and others, the simple fact of That we are with them is a sign of love, one so great that it surpasses everything else. My children know this and enjoy it, which is why I thank God, because I know that there are children who do not have this due to “x” situations and their development is affected.
