Hi Hivers,
I have devised a way to store digital files (anything except vids) via a blockchain platform.
My survey is it, according to my costings I need to charge $100. My question is it expensive? But before you say yes, please check the inclusions.
The $100 (price may change on conversion with native platform token) will include:
- An NFT
- Free 50 file uploads per month or 600 files in a year
until perpetuity. - A free monthly raffle ticket being an NFT holder
- Free encryption of files
- 4 layer of security
- Login via web3 wallet
- AES encryption
- Decryption of files via password
- Although file is in blockchain it is 100%
unsearchable
- Tested that even devs with special tools are
unable to pull the file.
As more people subscribe to the NFTs, the free uploads can increase too.
Free uploads is possible due to staking rewards
Advantage over cloud storage
- You dont have a recurring fee
- You are the custodian of your file. Unlike cloud services, most hacks happens due to employee misconduct or misconfiguration.
- Peace of mind that you can access your file anytime.
- Always have a copy of your important files.
- No changing of terms like price increase or
allotment of space. - Once uploaded, it is on the blockchain forever
- Even if you compromise your email associated
with the wallet, files are still encrypted and
protected with password individually - You can create 100 copies of each file upon
upload without worry of using allocated space
because there is no allocated space. - Even when wallet is compromised, files can still
be downloaded
This is just a teaser though. I am still in talks with a progammer to come up with a website so I can commercially go full steam. As of now I am just an NFT artist selling NFTs with features.
Don't you think down the line like 10 years from now your $100 packed too much value?
The NFT for this is yet to be minted. But you can reserve if interested.
