Cuaderno de dibujo: #8 - "Abstracto de líneas y tejido" / Drawing notebook: #8 - "Abstract of lines and fabric"

Saludos hivers y bienvenidos a mi blog. He estado dibujando usando solamente líneas y sin pensar mucho, simplemente me dejo llevar por lo que salga. Si bien estos dibujos son abstractos, o al menos eso es lo que a mí me parece, es una manera divertida de hacer algo diferente y me ayuda mucho a liberar ideas y a la concentración.

Hello hivers and welcome to my blog. I have been drawing using only lines and without thinking much, I just go with what comes out. Although these drawings are abstract, or at least that's what they seem to me, it's a fun way to do something different and it helps me a lot to release ideas and concentrate.

Para hacer este dibujo utilicé mi cuaderno de hojas sencillas de papel bond, lápiz, regla, marcadores de colores y marcadores negros, punta fina, normal y gruesa. La mayoría de las veces selecciono alguna música en especial pero esta vez sólo estaba escuchando una estación de radio que pone música variada de estilo Pop Rock de diferentes épocas. A continuación el paso a paso.

To make this drawing I used my notebook with simple sheets of bond paper, pencil, ruler, colored markets, and black markers fine, normal and thick point. Most of the time I select some special music but this time I was just listening to a radio station that plays various Pop Rock style music from different eras. Below is the step by step.

Lo primero que se me ocurrió fue llenar las formas con líneas que hicieran contraste para crear un efecto confuso en el centro del dibujo y puse líneas verticales y horizontales para lograr el efecto opuesto, o sea, de orden.

The first thing that occurred to me was to fill the shapes with contrasting lines to create a confusing effect in the center of the drawing, and I put vertical and horizontal lines to achieve the opposite effect, that is, order.

Empecé delineando y rellenando con marcador negro.

I started by outlining and filling in with black marker.

Esto se estaba poniendo muy monocromático así que se me ocurrió usar los colores primarios para darle más vida y un amarillo intenso en la parte central para atraer la atención.

This was getting very monochromatic so I thought of using the primary colors to give it more life and a bright yellow in the center to attract attention.

Y este es el resultado final. A medida que iba avanzando en el dibujo me dí cuenta que la parte central parecía una de esas ilusiones ópticas que surgen cuando dibujamos líneas en diferentes direcciones, y la parte externa se parecía a los tejidos que se hacen con un telar. Soy pésima para escoger los títulos así que este dibujo lo llamé "Abstracto de líneas y tejido" 🤭🤷🏻‍♀️.

And this is the final result. As I progressed in the drawing I realized that the central part looked like one of those optical illusions that arise when we draw lines in different directions, and the outer part looked like the fabrics that are made with a loom. I'm not good at choosing titles so I called this drawing "Abstract of lines and fabric" 🤭🤷🏻‍♀️.

El dibujo abstracto me ayuda a desarrollar nuevas ideas, a dejar salir mi subconsciente y a crear sin la necesidad de tener el control y un concepto definido al momento de sentarme a dibujar, y eso me gusta. Si bien prefiero la manera tradicional de pintar o dibujar sabiendo lo que voy a hacer o lo que quiero hacer, el ejercicio de trabajar lo abstracto me inspira mucho así que lo seguiré practicando 😉.

Abstract drawing helps me develop new ideas, let my subconscious out and makes me create without the need to have control and a defined concept when I sit down to draw, and I like that. Although I prefer the traditional way of painting or drawing knowing what I'm going to do or what I want to do, the exercise of working with the abstract inspires me a lot so I will continue practicing it 😉.
