Primero leí que tenía que dejar todo lo que es escritura y dedicarme a salir y tener otras actividades. Al contrario, la lectura de libros de nuevos autores que nunca había considerado leer me ayudó a abrir la mente a nuevas formas de escritura y nuevos géneros. En mi caso, siempre leo libros de terror y policiales; así que decidí empezar uno que me habían recomendado y era del género fantasía.

En especial a mí me cuesta escribir escenas románticas, así que me ayuda un montón crearlas escuchando música. Por otra parte, contribuyó a pasar mi bloqueo el hecho de compartir tiempo con mi familia. Escuchar anécdotas o historias es muy útil. Puede que ellos tengan suficiente material para un nuevo libro.
Listening to music also helped me a lot. It creates different emotions in me, which I transform into stories. A good melody can help me to imagine a new scene with those forgotten characters. I especially find it hard to write romantic scenes, so it helps me a lot to create them by listening to music. On the other hand, sharing time with my family helped me to overcome my block. Listening to anecdotes or stories is very helpful. They may have enough material for a new book.
Al momento de sentarme en la computadora creé un archivo de ideas. Diferentes ideas para libros, para alguna escena, datos curiosos que pudieran servir, investigaciones en internet sobre algún tema, etc. Iba almacenando un montón de cosas sin tener la obligación de escribir y, aunque no lo crean, ayuda a empezar con la escritura. Un momento del día en donde estén tranquilos y sin obligaciones, en mi caso fue a la mañana temprano o en las noches, también aporta su gotita. Pueden establecer un horario que seguir todos los días, a algunas personas suele ayudarles. A mí en particular me sirvió para relajar la mente y poder concentrarme mejor.

You can establish a schedule to follow every day, it usually helps some people. For me in particular it helped me to relax my mind and be able to concentrate better.
