    The Ruleset

    image.png

    • Rulesets - Silenced Summoners & Holy Protection
    • Mana Cap - 16
    • Active Elements - image.png image.png

    image.png

    Here's my starting lineup

    Summoner: Kelya Frendul

    • With the ruleset that I got I ideally wanted to play a lowest mana summoner possible but sadly I did not have any 3 mana high level summoner neither in water of life
    • So in my case I went with water element as I had better team there for low mana of 12 after my summoner was picked
    1st Position: Cruel Sethropod

    • Cruel Sethropod was my main tanks for this battle
    • Main reason I like Cruel Sethropod here a lot is his high hp and armor for only 3 mana
    • Cruel Sethropod also had 2 melee attack which meant he was not only tanking but also getting some great damage down
    2nd Position: Furious Chicken

    • The next two monsters had the same role in this battle and that was just to tank two attacks if it should come to it
    • Nothing really to say here other than why not play him he costs 0 mana when you have room for him of course
    3rd Position: Torrent Fiend

    • Same as Furious Chicken with an extra 1 melee attack which meant he would hopefully get one attack in before dying
    • I many picked both of them just because I had two slots open and 0 mana left so they both fitted in perfectly
    4th Position: Uraeus

    • Next up in line is my first Sneak monster
    • I love Uraeus for much as you get so many stats for a low mana of 3
    • As Uraeus is neutral by type he can also be played in almost any match which makes him even better and much more useful than other Sneak monsters to have a copy or two of
    • Sneak - Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit
    5th Position: Pelacor Bandit

    • For my second Sneak monster I picked Pelacor Bandit
    • He is also a super great sneak monster as you get a lot of general stats and the Flying ability for low mana which makes him a great backline tank
    • Sneak - Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit
    • Flying - +25% chance to evade physical attacks. No effect if the attacker also has Flying. Immune to Earthquake
    6th Position: Crustacean King

    • Crustacean King was my last monster and also my first healer for this team
    • I decided I wanted a single healer for this team as my first tank had a lot of hp which meant he was hopefully not gonna fall with a single round damage and that gonna give me the time I need to heal him back up
    • Tank Heal - Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied unit in the first position

    Starting board

    image.png

    • After seeing the starting board I was quite on the fence about the results of the battle as I had the level advantage but my enemy did have a great backline to block a lot of my Sneak damage
    • The battle had two possible outcomes one being I take down his backline before my team starts to fall and the other I do not get his healer in time and my team just gets taken down one by one
    • I believe the first prediction is more likely has I have great backline damage I just need to not miss
    • But my predictions could still be off by a mile so lets start the battle and have a look

    image.png

    Here's how the battle went

    1st & 2nd Round

    image.png

    • After first two rounds the board was still looking quite the same for me
    • But my enemy had lost two of his backline monsters already which was a great start for me but I could not lose focus and start to miss now
    • Anything could still happen so lets keep watching
    3rd & 4th & 5th Round

    image.png

    • After 5th Round my enemies Pelacor Conjurer finally fell and his healer was now free to be attacked
    • But in the mean time my first tank and Furious Chicken also had fallen which made me a little nervous
    • Lets hope for the best and keep watching
    6th Round

    image.png

    • Next round we traded his healer for my Torrent Fiend
    • Now I just needed to take down his last monster before he gets on may last two monsters who could still damage him
    • Lets hope for the best and see from the end screen if I managed to win or I fumbled it hard
    7th & 8th & 9th Round

    image.png

    • It took me 3 rounds to kill my enemies last standing monster
    • After his Chaos Knight had fallen I took the victory

    Summary

    • This battle was definitely closer than I would have wanted but as I came out of it as a winner I do not mind it :)
    • The strategy to take away from this battle is the basic fill your board as best as you can if the Holy Protection ruleset is active and also get yourself decent low mana deck as these low mana battles are more common than you might think
