That's it, I'm tired...There are too many smartphotos and very few thoughts about them. I used to write very little at all. I could write a couple of paragraphs at the beginning of the post and leave the rest of the pictures without captions.
Just now I thought and realized that I have been on this platform for seven years!
I came here like everyone else in order to earn extra money, but again, like many, I stayed here to my liking, out of the habit of keeping a diary with photos.
And now I can't even imagine my lifestyle any other way.
For the first few years, I took pictures specifically for the blog, and then I just started shooting and accompanying it with text.
I began to tell stories about my travels and write my reflections on photographic topics and not only.
If it weren't for this platform, I might not have delved so far into the metaphysics of photography, because where else but here I can still share my delusional thoughts.
If it wasn't for the Voice, I wouldn't have filmed so many dilapidated housing, yard spaces and much more...after all, just pictures without feedback and accompanied by text are not interesting to anyone.
Here I learned how to write, express my thoughts competently, make up stories, and select the best photos.
If it wasn't for this platform, I wouldn't have become who I am.
Therefore, friendship with this platform is not an accident, it is fate, part of my path.
I intended to stop writing many times, I got tired of preparing material every day...but it all came down to the fact that this is not only a diary, but a job.
Work for yourself, self-discipline for continuous movement, for a constant cycle of shooting=photo=text=blog.
I reread old posts very often and it works like a diary of memories.
I have developed a certain publication format over the years, where one photo equals one thought.
Many readers' comments have repeatedly given me something.
These were useful tips, reviews, or some thoughts that even led me to something of my own, to some kind of project.
I do not even know who is reading me, because this is a platform where no one can be tracked.
If I try to be more restrained in social networks, because anyone of any status, social status and rank can read me there.
Here I do not know who in general (except for subscribers) looks at my blog.
But at least here I try to be sincere, not to be shy of anyone, not to think about others and only state what is in my head.
I probably need to become bolder and write in other places (social networks) where I am known as a photographer.
But I'm not making up my mind yet...and does anyone need it...
