Hola queridos amigos de la comunidad, espero que estén muy bien. Por acá seguimos con un intenso calor, además tenemos un racionamiento permanente de más de cuatro horas interdiarios, vivimos sofocados realmente. Gracias a Dios hay bastante agua para hidratarnos por dentro y por fuera y continuar con nuestra rutina del día.
En esas horas sin electricidad 🔌 me ocupo de ordenar algunas cosas, así que le tocó el turno a mi cajita de proyectos tejidos, son algunos que casi no veo porque los guardé en el escaparate. Resulta que entre otras cositas tengo unos gorros para bebé que tejí hace un tiempo. Recordé que un de mis vecinas me preguntó si tejía gorros y aproveché de sacarlos para promocionarlos.
Después de verlos ordenados me provocó tejer un nuevo gorro, uno más para la colección. Elegí el hilo de algodón color kaki que me sobró luego de tejer el bolsito para el teléfono y otro de tono color gris. Ambos hilos me los envió mi hijo desde Argentina a principios de año.

In those hours without electricity 🔌 I take care of ordering some things, so it was the turn of my little box of knitted projects, they are some that I almost do not see because I kept them in the window. It turns out that among other little things I have some baby hats that I knitted a while ago. I remembered that one of my neighbors asked me if I knitted hats and I took the opportunity to take them out to promote them.
After seeing them in order I was prompted to knit a new hat, one more for the collection. I chose the khaki colored cotton yarn that I had left over after knitting the phone bag and another one in a gray color. Both yarns were sent to me by my son from Argentina at the beginning of the year.
Les confieso que no recordaba las medidas para tejer gorro y tuve que recurrir a las tablas que están en Google 😂 luego comparé esas medidas con la de los gorros que tenía tejidos, así me sentí más segura para seguir tejiendo. Hace años tejí muchos gorros, especialmente para recién nacidos. Hasta hace como cuatro años tejí los últimos que fueron para adultos, esos se los llevó mi vecina para Argentina para abrigarse del frío al llegar.
I confess that I did not remember the measurements for knitting hats and I had to resort to the tables that are on Google 😂 then I compared those measurements with those of the hats I had knitted, so I felt more confident to continue knitting. Years ago I knit a lot of hats, especially for newborns. Until about four years ago I knitted the last ones that were for adults, those were taken by my neighbor to Argentina to keep her warm from the cold when she arrived.
Para este nuevo modelo usé los dos colores. Tejí todo el gorro en puntos altos, puntos bajos, puntos deslizados. En total fueron 72 puntos en la última vuelta. En la mitad trabajé la decoración. Levanté desde un punto del tejido unas vueltas de puntos altos en color gris (26 puntos) luego ese tejido lo cosí en la parte del frente del gorro y además tejí lo que simularían ser dos botones.
For this new model I used both colors. I knitted the whole hat in stockinette stitch, single crochet, slip stitch. In total there were 72 stitches in the last row. In the middle I worked the decoration. I picked up from a book of the knitting a few rounds of high stitches in gray color (26 stitches) then I sewed that knitting on the front of the hat and also knitted what would look like two buttons.
Estuve entretenida toda la mañana tejiendo el gorro porque me di todo el postín. Cada cierto tiempo me levantaba a tomar agua y a tomar aire del patio. Generalmente me levanto muy temprano por lo que los oficios siempre los termino rápido 😁
I was busy all morning knitting the hat because I gave myself all the trimmings. Every once in a while I went for a drink of water and some air from the patio. I usually get up very early, so I always finish my work quickly 😁.
Me he sentido muy acongojada desde que lei la noticia del fallecimiento de la hija de una de nuestras hivers compañeras. La vida nos sorprende de una manera muy triste. Paz a su alma y mi sentido pésame a toda la familia de @maleidamarcano 🫂
