I didn't think that I would visit the garden before the end of the week, since at the end of September everything that was planted and grown was harvested, but I ended up in it because of some other obligations at the cottage.
So while I'm at it, I went to the only surviving pumpkin of this year, the very one that I announced in previous posts as a potential candidate for #hwc2024
Since @der-prophet announced the beginning of the pumpkin world championship in his post, I took part in it and published several posts from my garden, with pumpkins in the center of attention.
Out of all those little embryos, only one made it to the end, didn't let me down and remains my favorite for the @hive-world-champ contest.
Now I just have to wait until the end of October, and I hope that we will receive instructions from you on what we should do next regarding this contest, so that the pumpkin does not "suffer" prematurely, because for a week or two, since my pumpkin is ready for picking, I'm thinking about warm potage, pumpkin pie, or just a piece of pumpkin baked in the oven.
