I don't know if you guys caught the very recent, literally yesterday from the time of writing this blog, event where Warren Buffett spoke on Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a major topic at the moment. Everyone’s discussing how it could alter our lives, but there’s one thing we have to watch out for.

Warren Buffett, a famous investor, recently voiced his concerns about AI. He fears it could be used maliciously, e.g., to deceive individuals into giving away their funds. Think of the terrifying prospect of someone deploying AI to create lifelike fake videos or messages.

Buffett also points out that the genie can’t be returned once it is let loose. He believes that we should comprehend AI more before further employment. Sure, there are good things that AI can do as well but we have to be careful too. So he doesn’t know much about AI and that’s fine. He compares it with something called atomic bomb which was a very powerful and dangerous weapon in the past. Just like the bomb, AI could be powerful and risky if we’re not careful.

I agree with Buffett. I think AI is great, but we mustn’t overlook the risks. It’s like a shiny new toy: it seems interesting at first but you have to read the instructions lest you get injured. We have to understand how AI works and what it can do before allowing it to take control of our lives.

Consider all the ways that artificial intelligence is already transforming society. It is revolutionizing healthcare, transport and even shopping. However, it also generates fake news, spies on people and violates our privacy rights. This is not right at all

So what should we do? Firstly we should educate ourselves about AI because ignorance isn't bliss when dealing with new technology; secondly we should be curious and ask questions, talking to experts helps too; finally staying updated about recent developments in the field will help us stay ahead of the curve

Next, we have to be responsible with AI. We must watch our actions and ensure that no one gets hurt in the process. Just because we can do something using AI does not imply that we should.

Lastly, we need to be cautious and keep an eye on AI so that it is used for good things. It calls for holding businesses and governments liable over their utilization of artificial intelligence as well as speaking up whenever there is anything amiss.

Ultimately, artificial intelligence has incredible potentialities. However, this does not mean that we should rush into it blindly; instead, let us tread carefully while appreciating its positive aspects but also being aware of possible dangers associated with it since prevention is better than cure.
