Good evening Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all tonight is some portrait shot's or head shot's of this Peacock that is located on the Red Tail Ranch. If your wondering why I don't have any full body shot's is what I was talking about last night on my previous post, I really just don't care for the enclosure that this bird is in. I really don't care for the chain link fence too but I want to still feature this animal on the property. So with that said here are the head shot's, the cover shot above is my favorite due to the fact I don't see the fence behind it and I wish it was not in this enclosure but I mentioned before he had two but one went missing, this one got real depressed so he decided to put it in with the Turkey's that I had posted last night about. It was real ski-dish and didn't care for me being inside their zone but still got off these images. I hope one day that I am up there, he lets it out to roam around a bit so I can get some better backdrop shot's of this guy but honestly I doubt it will ever happen, like I said its pretty said it mate is gone, so it really sucks for the guy. Regardless glad to get these shot's, to me its better than nothing and I always take these moments as learning, I keep shooting no matter what and that's always the plan. Live, learn and by all means keep shooting to fill up that memory stick in your camera, as time goes by you will get better and better. The second shot is pretty cool for he was closing his Nictitating membrane half way, I always like these shot's, opened or half way closed look pretty cool if you ask me.

Another pretty cool shot here, detail is pretty nice too minus the back drop I had mentioned I'm not a fan of.

Looking at me straight on he was sure curious of me but again wasnt really liking me getting close to him one bit.
