I still haven't recovered from all the partying that we did last Saturday. That was the first time I did not sleep through the night, the first time I drank beer after beer in a long time, and the first time I ever co-emceed in a program again after giving birth to my child.

Last Saturday was the 2nd HivePH meetup. It was not as big as last time but I really had a great time. The staff really did a great job planning and organizing this event. I saw how each staff took initiative in making this event possible. And for that, I am grateful and so peoud of each of them.

We held the the event at Makati Silver by Planeta Vergara. The place was really beautiful. The caretaker was very accommodating and was very patient in asking our questions. The space was big enough to house the people that attended the event. We were able to do all the activities that we had planned to do and so much more.

Although a lot of people has to cancel, I am still happy with the turnout. I got to meet members for the first time and some new people. I got to meet @kothy for the first time together with her special friend. So cute! I also met @gabiebi there. I also met @intoy.bugoy in person for the first time. I am also so happy to meet a fellow 90's kid, @scion02b. Salamat sa pagpunta! The parenthood personalities @tpkidkai, @akumagai, and @lhes were there too. Special thanks to @xanreo's tita for chaperoning so that Jam could join. And of course, this event would not have been possible if not for the efforts of the beautiful stafg of HivePh: @adamada, @demotry, @cthings, and @wittyzell (thank you for flying all the way from Japan to meet us.

The staff spent months planning to make it happen. Each one did their part to make the event possible. I have never seen such a well oiled machine such as the HivePH staff. Therr were socmany things that needed to be ironed out even up to the last minute and each one of them rolled with the punches like a pro. To think that all of us just do this on the sidelines, the dynamics of these people are just admirable.

To make sure that the event starts amd ends as smoothly as possible, Witty, Adam and I agreed to meet ahead of time to spruce up the space. To make it look more HivePH looking. We set up the tarp, made sure we were there once the food starts coming, and the prizes and giveaways are already up for display. Speaking of giveaways, I'd like to thank the people that made their efforts to make this event extra special. @cindee08 Thanks for the HivePH mug. @jonalyn2020 thank you for the crochet goodies. Thank you for the Japan Japan goods @wittyzell. I wanted to make some crochet souvenirs too but I did not have time anymore no thanks to the DepEd changes, so I brought DIY HivePah keychains instead.

We had lots of activities. Wirry and I bounced ideas to each other so that we could have more fun games for the event. Since there were just a few attendees, all that went there were automatically contestants for the game. Thank you all for being such good sport.

And thr food, oh there's so much food! We ordered food from Ambers which is famous for their pichi pichi and barbeque. Wr also ordered from A. Magpantay's. I love the ulams that were ordered especially the beef one. I'm not sure what it's called but I came back for seconds (and sharon-ed a few). I brought the specialty of Taguig, Lina's Inutak for dessert.

I'll let you all in on the activities we made next time. I assure you it was all fun. The program closed with a videoke session. And when I tell you that HivePH peeps are talented, I mean they are talented. There are artists, writers, photographers, but at the HivePH event, all of them are singers! Oh, what a small videoke machine can do to a person. Haha.

I really had fun meeting and mingling with the people that I usually just do chitchat and bardagulan online. I thank you all for braving the heat just to spend time with each other. We hope to do this again, hopefully we meet more people too.
