Hello, and welcome to my blog. Today, i will be sharing my insight on the topic Is there a human being in heaven now brought to us by bro. Eli Soriano.
So we often hear about great men of God who pleased God and God called them to Glory in heaven. Men such as Enoch and Elijah fall in this category. According to Hebrew chapter 11 vs 13 apostle paul had told that these men and prophets of God died in faith but have not recieved the promise. So we cannot really say that they are in heaven.
Reading from John 3 verses 13, Jesus made it clear that no man has ascended up to heaven
"And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven."
However, according to the bible, there is only one person whom has been recorded to have have ascended to heaven and that person is He who descended from heaven. In the book of john 6 verse 38, Jesus Christ gave us a clue that he descended from heaven into a mortal form not on his own accord but to do the fathers will. Also, apostle Paul described Jesus as the one who has ascended whom also earlier descended from the heavens.
"He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)"
So todays topic clears the doubt that any one has actually ascended to heavens and confirms truly that only person has ascended to the heavens to God and that is our Lord Jesus Christ.
