The monkey was targeted, will it get away with a black eye in the attempt? An eye for an eye.... That's the name of the game in this fight scenario. Will Cornelius turn a blind eye so that the monkey can win?

I couldn't let it go though and had to use this one. 😅 They're rarely as apt as they are here. ❤️ And I hope the translations of the sayings are not tooooooo bad. 😇
But now back to the topic. I found the eye interesting to draw because it can have a reflection in which you could recognize the opponent, which led me to the idea of capturing Cornelius' opponent in his eye as a reflection.
The eye was also interesting, as it is often shown as a biblical alien angel... True, they have 1000 eyes and Cornelius only has one, but this idea led me to Cornelius' small spherical weapons, he attacks with heavenly angelic power, so to speak. 😎😇😘 I just wanted to draw more than one eye. There should be an idea behind it.
Now I ask you, dear people, what do you think of my idea?

Das Äffchen wurde ins Auge gefasst, ob es bei dem Versuch mit einem blauen Auge davongekommen wird? Auge um Auge.... So heißt es bei diesem Kampfszenario. Ob Cornelius sein Auge zudrücken wird, damit das Äffchen gewinnen kann?
Wird hier wer ein Auge machen und riskieren?
Hoffentlich geht es nicht ins Auge....Okay okay, genug mit den deutschen Redewendungen zu Augen... 😂😂😂😂
Ich konnte es allerdings nicht sein lassen und musste diese nutzen. 😅 So passend treffen diese selten wie hier. ❤️
Aber nun zurück zum Thema. Ich fand das Auge interessant zu zeichnen, da es eine Spiegelung haben kann, indem man den Gegner erkennen könnte, was mich zu der Idee führte, Cornelius Gegner in seinem Auge als Spiegelung festzuhalten.
Auch war das Auge interessant, da es ja oft als biblische Alienengel gezeigt wird... Zwar haben diese 1000 Augen und Cornelius hat nur eins, aber diese Idee brachte mich zu den kleinen Kugelförmigen Waffen von Cornelius, er attackiert mit himmlischer Engelskraft, sozusagen. 😎😇😘 Ich wollte einfach mehr als nur ein Auge zeichnen. Es sollte eine Idee dahinterstecken.
Nun frage ich euch, liebe Leute, was denkt ihr über meinen Einfall?
I started to sketch Cornelius. After the monkey soft lines in the eye.
Here you see some tools, brushes, I have used.
Started with the blending and fine drawing of the eye.
Had to switch the line color of my ape, so it will be same like the eye color.
See... Qgain I used many layers to get the colors and effects I wanted and to avoid mistakes more easily.
Finer and detailed working on the eye.
Now finer details and blending on my monkey drawing.
