No it doesn’t mean there’s no true God in this world when the Lord Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, Why? The more the power of the Lord Jesus Christ is dispersed throughout the earth when He ascended into heaven. John 12:30–
"Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes"
John 12:31–
"Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out"
John 12:32–
"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me"
John 3:14–
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up"
John 3:15–
"That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life"
Matthew 28:18–
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth"
Matthew 28:19–
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost"
Matthew 28:20–
"Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
That is a very assuring pronouncement from the Lord of glory. God is not just now powerful over the earth, but even in Heaven, God gave Him all the power in heaven and in earth.
When He was accepted into heaven, the more we have to acknowledge that we now have true God in this world in the person and in the power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
He will be with us on earth, with His power extending from the throne of God unto this earth. So it doesn’t mean that when He was taken to heaven that there is no true God in this world anymore. I John 5:20–
"And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life."
The Lord Jesus Christ who manifested Himself to humanity is the true God of this world. Because other gods are false gods including the god of the present age.
