Wczoraj w Lizbonie było niczym w Bollywood, czasem słońce, czasem deszcz. Ten drugi zmoczyl nas w zasadzie tylko raz, kiedy nie było możliwości schowania się, bo staliśmy w kolejce do Elevador de Santa Justa. Kolejka bardzo szybko się posuwała do przodu, ale ucieczka przed deszczem w momencie, kiedy byliśmy kilka metrów od wejścia, oznaczałaby powrót na koniec kolejki i następne 20 minut czekania.

Pierwszą połowę dnia spędziliśmy kierując się powoli górami i dolinami w stronę
Basílica da Estrela, doszliśmy tam akurat w momencie, kiedy ja zamykano na przerwę w środku dnia. Sama bazylika nie była naszym celem, chcieliśmy w tamtych okolicach zjeść lunch. Wybraliśmy niedużą restaurację, gdzie głównie posilali się Portugalczycy, już to daje kilka gwiazdek do oceny Googla. Dobrze trafiliśmy, bo jedzenie było bardzo smaczne, szkoda tylko, że we wczorajszym menu nie było grillowanej ośmiornicy.

Druga połowa dnia to powrót słynnym tramwajem nr 28 w okolice Castelo de S. Jorge i zwiedzanie zamku z podziwianiem panoramy miasta.

[ENG] Yesterday in Lisbon was like in Bollywood movies, sometimes sunny, sometimes rainy. The latter actually only got us wet once, when we couldn't hide because we were standing in line to the Elevador de Santa Justa. The line moved very quickly, but escaping the rain while we were a few meters from the entrance would have meant going back to the end of the line and another 20 minutes of waiting.
We spent the first half of the day heading slowly through the mountains and valleys towards Basílica da Estrela, we got there just when it was closing for a break in the middle of the day. The basilica itself was not our goal, we wanted to have lunch there. We chose a small restaurant where mainly Portuguese people ate, which alone gives it a few stars for Google's rating. We got it right, because the food was very tasty, it's just a pity that yesterday's menu didn't include grilled octopus.
The second half of the day is a return trip by the famous tram no. 28 to the area of Castelo de S. Jorge and visiting the castle and admiring the panorama of the city.
