Well, you might also have been thinking about how this platform (Hive) is undervalued like myself and a few other users on Hive.
No doubt that the Hive community compromise of people from different parts of the world and from different walks of life but you might still be thinking the platform isn't there where it should have been.
Among other reasons, I believe one thing that Hive misses is the lack of good promotion. Hive needs a good hand promotion in order to grab some outside attention not only in the world of crypto but the rest of the internet world.
A strong community also is something that could help this platform run and survive. A strong community also could influence others to join this community.
The need for educating Hive community about how to optimize their content in order to rank better in search engines grabbing audience is something that is very important.
An important point raised by @themarkymark brought my attention to this thinking I should write about this.
Well, it's a point of concern to see posts that are on trending and yet they are not able to grab some good attention. Forget about the rest of the internet, the amount of post views on trending (as shared by @themarkymark) shows that the posts didn't even garnered a good attention in the platform itself which is something sort of strange for me.
Therefore, in order to attract some audience, users on Hive should need to know about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and how can they optimize their content to show up on search engines.
BUT
The twist is, content on Hive expires after 7 days, meaning that the content don't earn rewards after 7 days of period, probably that's the reason not most of the users may want to work on optimizing their content.
For this reason, I have to applause @khaleelkazi for introducing a new policy to InLeo where users are able to earn rewards on their content after the expiry of 7 days. Yet, it still needs to work more and I don't really have much idea about their new policy and for how long the content on inleo are going to earn rewards but still this looks a good step towards garnering some audience outside of Hive.
