Wanderlust: Embracing Long or Short Distances in Travel

As Much as I love traveling, I hate packing so much, that I would sometimes want to cancel because I don't know what to pack or because all the clothes I want to carry can't fit into a tiny box.

I know it's funny to see a girl that packs very little clothes for a trip , but that girl is me and I'm her hahaha.
I hate anything called stress, so most times If I'm staying for a week, then I would carry maybe 6 or highest 7 clothes and make sure there's extra space for new things that I might buy throughout my stay there.
I never carry extra clothes for some reason haha.

Honestly left for me alone, I'd want to travel empty handed and just get new things there and waybill them home separately after my trip has ended.

I usually pack my bag a day before traveling, that way I won't have to leave some things behind which never happens.
I never liked eating before traveling too, I would always starve until I got to my destination, it was only after doing that for several times I realised the reason I usually had headaches was because of that habit.

I also don't use my phone or even listen to music when I'm on a bus, I'd rather listen to the noise outside and just enjoy the breeze and the journey without any distractions. After all, you don't get to see places like that everyday.

Long or short distance journeys are all fun for me . I don't prefer anyone. At the end, I just love traveling and as long as I'm sitting at the window seat, I can stay in the bus for hours travelling to a new place.

But there's one thing I hate about long distance journeys which is traffic. I always get sick whenever there's traffic on the road because I get to perceive the smell of fuel and smoke coming from car exhaust. And the worst part is you can't close the window because of the heat so you'll just have to put up with the smell.
But aside from that, I love traveling.

The longest time I've been on a bus was 5 years ago. I only remembered this memory on seeing this week's prompt. I traveled on the road for 15 hrs which was a lot for me because All my life, the farthest place I've been to is Port Harcourt which takes less than 5 hrs to reach.

We left Bayelsa around 8 am and reached Lagos very late at around 9 pm. It was a very fun journey for me because i had to see so many things on the road.
We made a stop at several places to get food and also use the restroom, but in all, the journey was very fun, coupled with the fact that I was with my friends and we sat close to each other so we gossiped throughout the journey . Okay maybe we took a nap at some point hehehe but it was fun.
